Introduction

At Pastificio Andalini we are committed to universal digital accessibility and work continuously to ensure that our digital assets are accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, age or personal circumstances.

Our Accessibility Statement is based on the requirements of Annex V to Directive (EU) 2019/882 and establishes a presumption of conformity, in accordance with Article 15, with Annex I and the latest version of the EN 301 549 standard, which is the harmonised European technical standard for accessibility. This standard defines the accessibility requirements for products and services.

The scope of this statement covers the digital asset https://andalini.it/, excluding embedded content from external domains. However, Pastificio Andaliniand its external suppliers remain actively committed to improving the accessibility of the external content included within its digital asset, with the aim of ensuring the most inclusive digital experience possible.

Criteria Adopted

Pastificio Andalini applies the requirements of the EN 301 549 standard to ensure the digital accessibility of the website https://andalini.it/. Some of the features implemented to improve content accessibility are:

(9.1.3.5) Appropriate autocomplete attributes are being added to forms to enhance the user experience, particularly on mobile devices or in assistive contexts.
(9.1.4.3) We are using both automated and manual tools to verify that contrast between text and background meets the minimum requirements for readability.
(9.1.4.10) All layouts are being checked to ensure that content adapts correctly when resized on small screens, without requiring horizontal scrolling.
(9.1.4.11) All graphical elements and non-text controls are currently being reviewed to ensure they have sufficient contrast with their background, improving visual identification.
(9.2.2.2) All elements with automatic movement are being checked to ensure they include accessible and visible pause or close mechanisms.
(9.2.4.3) We are currently verifying that tab order is logical and consistent, enabling sequential navigation that does not alter meaning or functionality.
(9.2.4.4) Link wording is being improved to make it more self-explanatory and understandable without additional context.
(9.2.4.6) A clear and logical hierarchy is being applied to headings and labels to facilitate understanding of content and structured navigation.
(9.2.4.7) All interactive elements are currently being reviewed to ensure keyboard focus remains clearly visible through high-contrast styling.
(9.2.5.3) We are currently verifying that interactive elements with visible labels correspond to their accessible names, thereby improving consistency and screen reader comprehension.
(9.3.1.2) We are currently adding “lang” attributes to content fragments in languages other than the main language to ensure correct pronunciation by multilingual screen readers.
(9.3.3.2) All forms are currently being reviewed to ensure each field includes a clear label or instruction explaining its purpose.
(9.3.3.3) Error messages are currently being improved to provide clear guidance to help users correct detected errors.
(9.4.1.2) We are currently improving the semantic accessibility of all custom components, ensuring they correctly communicate their role, state and value to assistive technologies.
(9.4.1.3) ARIA roles and accessible attributes are being correctly implemented to ensure dynamic messages (such as errors, confirmations or alerts) are detected and announced by screen readers.
(10.1.1.1) Images in non-web documents are correctly labelled or provided with a text alternative.
(10.1.3.1) The information, structure and relationships in documents are defined by software or provided with a text alternative.
(10.1.4.3) In documents, the contrast ratio between text and images is at least 4.5:1.
(10.2.1.1) Assurance that elements in documents receive correct keyboard focus.
(10.2.4.2) The page title is correctly identified in documents.
(10.2.4.6) Headings and/or control names are sufficiently descriptive of their purpose.
(10.2.5.3) Verification that labels accompanying controls always include a name.
(10.3.1.1) The default language used is correctly specified in documents.
(10.4.1.2) In documents, user interface components such as form elements, links and script-generated components follow the structure recommended by accessibility guidelines.
